Automatic Backups
If your computer was lost or destroyed, how would you recover your data? If you don’t have a backup system in place, you could forever lose your important photos and documents. There are multiple ways data loss can occur, including hardware failure, physical damage, and malicious software such as Ransomware which can encrypt your files. The loss of data can be detrimental to individuals, and crippling to businesses. That’s why it is important to always have a safe copy of your important files, which can be accessed and restored at a moment’s notice. Whilst it’s important to have a backup of your files, it’s just as important to ensure it’s a recent copy. This article further explains the importance of backups.
If you’ve recently lost data, we can attempt to recover your files. If it was due to a virus, we offer malicious software removal.
Automatic Scheduled Backups
We implement a smart automatic backup system in Perth homes and offices. The system routinely creates a backup of your files, without requiring any ongoing input from the user. The system will check hourly, daily, weekly or monthly for files that have been modified since the last backup, and incrementally synchronise those files accordingly.
Local and Cloud Backups
Backups can be made to a local device, or to the cloud. A simple local backup solution could routinely copy data from a specific folder to an external hard drive. For a Perth home or office network, all connected computers can be scheduled to backup to a single network drive. If you prefer your data to be available from anywhere in the world, a cloud backup solution in combination with a local backup solution can be implemented.
